Painting in Pensilva

Here we painted a rental property for a customer who had found us online.

She wanted to improve the appearance of her bungalow by painting over the spar-dashing (more commonly known as pebble-dash). This isn't an easy task.

We bleached off all the walls and concrete gutters and carried out some minor repairs to the rendering and a few different holes where pipes had been fitted. We then applied two coats of good-quality masonry paint, terracotta for the gutters and windowsills and magnolia on the walls.  Although the bungalow is quite small it took three days to paint it due to the difficulties of painting over the spar dashing. It was worth the effort as the transformation was quite marked.
