Fitting a kitchen tap

New kitchen tap

This job was carried out in a tenancy in Liskeard. The kitchen sink tap was past its best, dripping continually and replacement was the best option.

When we looked at the job, it was noted that the bolt that held the old tap on was badly rusted, seized in position and hard to get at. We managed to break it off and remove the old tap. Then we replaced the service valves as these were deteriorated and weeping and connected up the new tap using copper tails.

Whilst at the house we also fitted a new filling valve in one of the toilet cisterns and replaced the silicone behind the kitchen sink. The tenants were pleased with the work carried out.
