Fitting shelves in an alcove

Shelves in an alcove

This job was for some regular customers in St Ive.

They wanted two extra shelves added to an alcove in their property. Normally this would be a simple job but the alcove is a strange shape so this required very careful measuring, marking out and cutting of the shelves. Once cut they were actually an irregular diamond shape.

The shelves were fixed to wooden runners, securely screwed to the walls with wall plugs. We sanded them down ready for the customers to paint themselves.

Whilst at the property we also fitted a curtain pole which was an unplanned addition to the job but no problem at all.
