Painting barns

This work was part of a very large painting job we have been doing this summer.

The barns were bleached off to remove green algae and an accumulation of moss removed from the bottoms of the walls. We also had a good sweep and general tidy up around them.

The gable-end of the smaller barn was given a coat of creocote and then we painted the rest of the barn with masonry paint.

The barn is looking bright and clean again which is what the customer wanted to achieve.

We then moved on to the large barn, which was a big area to paint considering that most of it had to be done with a brush due to the rough texture of the blockwork.

The job has turned out well and the customer was very happy with the standard of work.
