Hanging a mirror

hanging a mirror

This job was for a client we have worked for on two previous occasions.

They wanted to hang this large and fairly heavy mirror in their sitting room, but the wall is only made of plasterboard so it is hard to achieve a good fixing.

We securely mounted a piece of timber onto the face of the wall screwed through the plasterboard into the studs behind. This way we could be confident that a secure fixing was achieved.

We also carried out a number of other small jobs during this visit including: putting up an outside light, fitting two floor joining strips where laminate flooring joins tiling, shortening a door and fitting a new blade in the clients own jigsaw.
