Landscaping replacement

This was the complete replacement of rotten wooden retaining walls.

The original posts had been there for over fifteen years. They were set in concrete so digging them out was quite a task. First we had to remove all the decorative stones and garden without damaging any of the plants. We then dug down to expose the concrete and broke that out using a powered breaker. The concrete was all removed and skipped and the trench cleaned out. We then replaced the posts following the original design setting them in new postcrete. We then back-filled, made good the joint with the wall and had a good sweep up.
